Svea Singers sing traditional Swedish folksongs a capella. They are from Grand Marais, Minnesota and first got together when Grand Marais put on their first Hygge Festival in ‘tropical’ February.

Rose Arrowsmith DeCoux
is a children's author, actress and storyteller. Rose grew up going to Swedish camp and many Midsummer festivals and is an all-around Scandi-nerd.

Yvonne Mills
loves to sing and has sung most of her life, and is a staple in the Grand Marais music scene. She's new to Swedish music and language-- and loves it!

Tina Hegg
has an obvious talent for cooking and eating, a hidden talent for singing, and no talent at all for mechanical things or being indirect. You can find her exploring the woods with her family and pets in Grand Marais, Minnesota, or leading local kids on various adventures

Erika Ternes
plays violin and piano in addition to singing. She was a professional choral singer in Philadelphia before moving to Minnesota. She teaches high school choir in Grand Marais. Though she grew up in Nashville and had never even met a Lutheran before moving to MN, she still got all the Lutheran jokes on Prairie Home Companion.
